Multi day road trips are a great way  to see lots of New Zealand and to experience many different fishing locations and styles.A typical trip might include but not limited to 4 days fishing with 3 nights accommodation.

Options might include:

Southland trip –  Meet in  Wanaka or pick up from Queestown, Drive south and fish some of the many famous rain fed streams and  rivers of Southland , combined with a float trip down the trout filled Waiau river

Central South Island trip –  Pick up from Queenstown or meet in Wanaka Drive north and fish some of the many snow fed mountain streams and rivers combined with a float trip on the impressive Waitaki river

Other options are

West coast   When the cicadas are singing and the big browns are looking up!

Central  Otago   Great early season or when other catchments blown out with rain, This area is one of the driest in New Zealand
